SUMMARY:Spring State Convention
DESCRIPTION:The St. Clair County Democratic Party encourages county members of the MDP to head on down to Detroit to convene. \nWe have a good bit of business to do as a state party. Caucuses will be meeting with some choosing members and leadership. \nThe state party will be choosing a new chair and vice chairs. \nHere is a link to the agenda for Saturday: \n2025 Spring State Convention Agenda \nIt’s a full day of activities. Here’s the link to the convention packet: \n2025 Spring State Convention \nAttendees who should check the membership qualifications for attending and voting on any measures in their congressional district committee (ours is CD 9) or for the chair elections. Those credentials requirements can be found in the handbook whose link is above. \nWe will have a number of people carpooling. If you need a ride or are willing to let others ride with you\, we will contact those who are interested. That email will be added here as soon as we establish who the point of contact will be. \nWe’ll be leaving around 7 am because the lines at check in can be long. \nJoin us as we join our colleagues in Detroit on February 22.
