SUMMARY:SCCDP Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Democrats! \nJoin us for our monthly meeting. We have preparation for the convention and work to do. \nWe will select a day for our county convention to select representatives for statewide committees who have work to do on credentials\, resolutions\, and other actions. \nBe sure to check your membership in the MDP. You must be a member of the Michigan Democratic Party for thirty days prior to the state convention held in Detroit. \nHere’s the link: MDP State Endorsement Convention \nWe are currently seeking candidates for office and will report on those efforts and a workshop scheduled for March 8 at the BWLT. \nAs the weather warms\, we will be preparing for a number of actions from door-knocking to rallying. Please consider helping out our Party Building and Political Action committees. 2026 is already going to be a crucial election as we look toward the presidential election in 2028. \nWe anticipate we may have guests joining us. Once we have confirmations\, we will post those details here. So check back for that and the date for the county convention which will be coming up in March. \nWe will send out a Zoom link for the meeting in the afternoon of the day we meet. \nSee you then.
