SUMMARY:October Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Democrats! \nJoin us on Monday October 13 at 6:30 at our monthly meeting on 2441 West Water in the Blue Water Labor Temple. \nWe will have monthly updates and are set to begin some actions for the upcoming two months. \nOne event which occurs in two differing locations will be Senior Power Days in Marine City and Port Huron on October 17th and October 24th respectively. Our calendar will have soon have the times and venues for those events. \nThe second is a food drive for food pantries in St. Clair County. We have identified specific pantries to support and will share details on Monday. \nHere is what to bring for Monday: \nCanned Soup (low sodium if possible)-Canned Pasta Meals (like ravioli)-Cereal-Juice-Cooking Oil-Tuna\, Salmon\, Chicken (Pull Top or Foil Packs help homeless most)-Canned Fruit (in Natural or Low Sugar Syrup)-Any Other Non-Perishables-Checks or Cash to Blue Water Food Depot also allows them to purchase discounted ground beef.These two pantries together serve nearly 1\,500 people monthly in our communities.Please bring some food and if possible some solid cardboard boxes so we can transport the food that is brought in. \nSee you on Monday! \n
